Appear Appoints New Senior Account Manager and New Sales Manager to Help Drive Company's Growth
Stockholm, February 21, 2007 - Appear, a leading provider of enterprise mobility software, today announced that it has named Ian Matthews, Senior Account Manager and Tom de Wit, Sales Manager, as part of a planned growth strategy of its sales team. Both Matthews and de Wit report to Tim Carter, EMEA Sales Director at Appear.
Matthews brings more than 28 years of IT sales experience to Appear, most recently as the top-performing enterprise mobility sales professional at iAnywhere. Previously, Matthews held key sales positions at several companies including IBM and Sterling Software. Matthews is based in Oxford, England.
Based in the Netherlands, de Wit joins Appear with over 25 years of sales experience. Having worked most recently as Sales Director at SeeBeyond (which was acquired by Sun Microsystems), de Wit brings with him a proven track record in driving enterprise sales in the Netherlands. Prior to his work at SeeBeyond, de Wit held senior sales roles at Platinum Technology and CompuWare.
