La division Advanced Wound Management (traitement avancé des plaies) de Smith & Nephew (LSE: SN; NYSE:SNN) annonce aujourd'hui le lancement de deux nouveaux produits ALLEVYN qui viennent compléter la gamme existante de produits de traitement progressif des plaies.

ALLEVYN Gentle et ALLEVYN Gentle Border associent la gestion supérieure de l'humidité de la gamme ALLEVYN aux bénéfices uniques du gel silicone et des adhésifs au gel doux, offrant un maintien optimal du milieu humide de la plaie pour une cicatrisation plus rapide tout en maximisant le confort du patient et réduisant la douleur.

ALLEVYN Gentle Border is a silicone gel adhesive hydrocellular foam dressing, designed to minimise pain to the patient and trauma to the wound at dressing change with longer wear time for patients with fragile skin; ALLEVYN Gentle is a soft-gel adhesive hydrocellular foam dressing designed to facilitate easier application when secondary retention is required and minimises pain on removal for patients with fragile skin.
