Pace's PVR Set-Top Box for Premiere Debuts at ANGA Cable

COLOGNE, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2005--ANGA Cable 2005 Cologne, hall 14.2 stand C7, 1 June 2005: Visitors to the Pace Micro Technology (pic.l) stand at ANGA Cable will be able to get their first glance of the company's cutting edge personal video recorder (PVR) set-top box developed for Premiere.

This set-top box is currently going through certification for Premiere and will be deployed by Premiere during the roll-out of its payTV satellite PVR service from this summer onwards

Pace's TDS460KP for Premiere features an 80 Gbyte hard drive, which provides over 40 hours recording without the need for a single video tape.

Meanwhile, this innovative set-top box is set to reduce the number of arguments in households as integrated twin tuners allow users to watch one programme while another is being recorded or even record two programmes and watch one from the hard disc at the same time

With the Premiere PVR by Pace, users can also pause live TV, fast forward, rewind, time-shift and automatically record multiple episodes in a series.

The set-top box comes with a multi-lingual electronic programme guide (EPG) and incorporates an embedded Nagravision Conditional Access (CA) system
