BRYAN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 2005--TomorrowNow, Inc. today announced the hire of 14-year J.D. Edwards veteran Nick Rawls in the United Kingdom. Rawls will be focused on selling TomorrowNow Support Services to PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards licensees in UK and Ireland. TomorrowNow Support Services replaces PeopleSoft annual maintenance and support. Fortune 500, mid-market, and public sector organizations from nearly every industry sector have switched to TomorrowNow for their mission-critical support services. "In joining TomorrowNow, I feel like I'm coming home," Rawls said.
"TomorrowNow is a well-established company with integrity, experience, and a passion for premier customer service." "Nick has worked in pretty much every sales and marketing area, and was instrumental in leading the launch of the OneWorld product into the UK and north European markets," said Nigel Pullan, vice president International Sales at TomorrowNow.
"He is extremely well known in the J.D. Edwards user community, and more recently the PeopleSoft community." "With the emergence of service-oriented architectures, the old ERP model of having to buy support from the same company that makes your software is broken forever," Rawls said.
"So third party support from a proven provider makes good sense, particularly if customers have a perfectly good system that runs well -- TomorrowNow offers highly responsive, expert support services at about half of what the customers have paid their vendor." TomorrowNow is aggressively recruiting experienced J.D. Edwards and PeopleSoft support, sales, and marketing candidates in Europe and the Asia Pacific region, and plans to soon open offices in Amsterdam; Singapore; and Reading, UK. TomorrowNow recently announced the signing of its first European-based customer, Yazaki Europe, Ltd.
