TULLAHOMA, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 28, 2005--Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that a subsidiary company received a contract from BMW to design, construct, and commission a new aerodynamic research and development center.
The center's wind tunnels and support buildings will provide BMW with a state-of-the-art facility to develop next-generation vehicles.
Officials did not disclose the contract value
In making the announcement, Jacobs President Craig Martin stated, "This contract provides an excellent opportunity to advance our support to the international automotive industry.
We have worked closely with BMW to fully understand their testing goals and to develop the optimum solution for meeting their needs today and in the future."
