Barcelone, le 10 octobre 2007 - Koebcke GmbH, filiale allemande de Service Point Solutions (SPS.MC), a signé un contrat pluriannuel avec Myphotobook GmbH pour fournir des services d'impression et d'édition de haute qualité d'albums photos. Les 3 premières années Koebcke réalisera l'impression de plus de 500 000 albums. Une extension de contrat de deux ans est prévue.
Myphotobook GmbH is part of Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holtzbrinck Group, headquartered in Berlin is a leading media group and a fast growing European provider of online photo-book services, which concentrates on the high quality segment of the market. Founded 2004, it now serves customers in 80 countries comprising Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway and United States.
Myphotobook offers the possibility to have digital images bound in a book. Selecting the pictures, re-arranging and tailoring them to individual needs. It can also add texts or captions, as well as choose the colour and binding of your book.
Once the individual project is finished, it is send in digital format to Myphotobook who in turn will submit all print ready files via an ultrahigh speed network to Koebcke. Thanks to elaborate printing and binding processes, a genuine book is produced which will be posted directly to the individual home.
For Koebcke GmbH, which is in charge of the printing and binding process, time is a critical issue with a production starting scheduled as early as the 1st November 2007. To meet this deadline, the quality of the service and the increasing demand of this high quality printing service (Print on Demand), the company has invested over 2 million EUR in new high tech equipment and Infrastructure at a new 680m2 production centre in Berlin.
The concluded agreement marks an important milestone in Service Point long-term strategy to diversify heavily into the fast growing full colour high quality printing.
