Garrigues-Affinitas -l'alliance internationale latino-américaine que promeut Garrigues- Affinitas- organise la première édition des " Prix Garrigues-Affinitas de bonne Gouvernance d'entreprise en Amérique Latine ". L'objectif de ces prix est de récompenser l'effort mené par les entreprises latino-américaines pour leur mise en place de politiques de bonne gouvernance et de transparence.
La remise des prix s'est déroulée lors du 9ème forum Latibex à Madrid les 21,22 et 23 novembre 2007. At a lunch held on November 22, Dr Robert Letts, Chairman of the Board, received the distinguished award for Volcan Compañía Minera S.A.A. for the Company's high quality and degree of transparency among the financial community.
Dr Letts said "it is for us an honor to have received this recognition for our ongoing work on informational transparency for our shareholders and the entire financial community. We are also delighted to share it with Compañía de Minas Buenaventura".
The ninth Latibex Forum held saw representation of more than 700 participants from among Ibero-American corporate issuers, investment fund managers, analysts and other representatives from securities markets internationally.
