GLOBAL INTERFACE : Rick Centeno est nomm? Pr?sident et CEO de Global Interface SA

Paris, 20 Décembre 2007 - Global Interface [Euronext Paris, MLGLO] annonce la nomination de Rick Centeno au poste de Président et Directeur Général du groupe. Il succédera à Daniel Mlanao qui a démissionné de son poste pour poursuivre sa carrière hors de l'entreprise.


Rick Centeno a une longue carrière dans le secteur des technologies. Il a travaillé pour plusieurs compagnies internationales opérant dans différents secteurs, tels que l'énergie, le développement de logiciels, les télécommunications et les médias. Avant de rejoindre Global Interface, Rick Centeno travaillait au sein de la sociétéVodafone. Il y a débuté en 2000 comme CTO / CCO de Vizzavi Pays-Bas, un fournisseur de services Internet et de contenus mobiles détenu par Vodafone puis en 2003, Rick est devenu CIO de Vodafone aux Pays-Bas et responsable de toutes les activités relatives aux technologies de l'information au sein de cette société. Rick a également fait évoluer Vodafone vers une société orientée ''service client'' à travers une organisation plus légère et plus rentable. Avant d'intégrer Vodafone, RickCenteno a été consultant en gestion d'un cabinet international et a commencé sa carrière en travaillant pour la Royal Dutch / Shell Group, avec pour fonction le marketing produit et le management organisationnel dans le domaine de l'exploitation pétrolière, à travers plusieurs pays.

Rick Centeno appointed President and CEO of Global Interface S.A.

Paris, 20 december 2007 - Global Interface [Euronext Paris, MLGLO] announced today that Rick Centeno is appointed President and CEO for the group, starting immediately. He will be succeeding Daniel Mlanao who has resigned from his position to pursue a career outside the company.

Rick Centeno has a long standing career within the technology sector, working for various international companies operating in different sectors ranging from energy, software development, telecommunication and media. Prior to joining Global Interface, Rick Centeno worked within Vodafone in different roles. He started in 2000 as CTO/COO for Vizzavi Netherlands, an internet-service provider and mobile content aggregator, partly owned by Vodafone. Since 2003 he was the CIO for Vodafone in the Netherlands, being responsible for all IT related activities within the telecoms company, and transforming the company into a customer oriented, leaner and cost-effective organization. Before Vodafone he was management consultant for an international firm. Mr Centeno started his career working for the Royal Dutch Shell Group, managing activities ranging from product marketing to line management within the oil exploration field andworking in different countries.
