The customer chose Eurotech to upgrade its existing products to a newer single board computer extending the lifecycle of these products using this ARM technology. Used to test for diseases in just minutes, these products connect to a laboratory information management system that collects all results into an electronic medical record.
"With the breadth of Sphere II features and performance, medical OEMS can quickly capitalize on their product development efforts to earn additional revenue from proven product lines," explained Greg Nicoloso, Chief Executive Officer of Eurotech Inc. "Eurotech offers multiple hardware solutions, including both ARM and Intel Atom embedded computers, as well as software options and customization to facilitate our customers' success."
